i ran mile fastest mile to date 7min 30sec. i know its slow compared to real runners but i am happy about it anyway.

Today I ran the Nike+ 10K. I was complete hell but I did it and now feel great. I know its lame but any motivation is good motivation.

Today was my first run in 32 days. It was hard as hell to do just 3 miles but I did it and I can not wait to get into my running form. Oh yeah, i am back from Europe aswell.

It has been a whirlwind 2 weeks. Some days are more memorible then others and some you dont even remeber happening. We have done lots of traveling in the last 3 weeks with even more scheduled for the next 3. I have no time to post and if i did there was no internet connection to be found. here are just a few pics of what i have seen during this time.

From Russia with Love...

We arrived in Russia yesterday and it has been extremely wonderful so far. The first day was spent indoors at a club in St. Petersburg and then we took an overnight train to Moscow late last night. The train ride was amazing just a preveiw of what it will be like once we meet up with ou bus. Today in Moscow we walked around with a tour guide and Converge did an interveiw with a music video station. The band has the night off and chances are we will all just stay in and relax.

On the boat ferry yesterday Nate found Salt and Pepper packets that make the perfect poker chips. The lengths we will go through to gamble.

First Flight

It was not first class but it nice to have an exit row seat on our 7 hour flight from Boston to Amsterdam. I was able to watch 2 movies on the flight, Jumper and Cloverfield to keep myself entertained considering I was not able to sleep at all. Our flight from Amsterdam to Norway was only 70 minutes and I also had an exit row which was nice but then the airline lost Ben's bag. We were packed into a taxi van for a 90 minutes hell ride to the hotel which so far has been wonderful. So far i have seen Jack White ( White Stripes fame) and a singer named Duffy at the hotel and i am sure there are more "stars" that i just do not recognize.

Forced Run

Its been 5 days since my last run. I have been completely lazy and in no mood to go out. Today I was able to push out 3 miles and it felt pretty good. Its easy to get lazy so i use this as a reminder to get of my butt and run.

Today we lost a great friend, her name was Sealee. I am extremely sad to have lost her but happy she is free from pain and suffering of bone cancer she was diagnosed with. She will be missed forever.

Whats better then a free pair of sneakers? 2 pairs of free sneakers. I recently asked Dave for a pair of sneakers he has had for atleast 8 years and not only did he send me them but another pair too.

Just seconds before the tree came crashing down Rebecca and I were sitting on the porch watching the storm roll in. The tree actually hit as I was walking into the house after Rebecca. Guess I have something productive to do in the morning.

Today consisted of me being extremely hot, Philadelphia is in the mist of its first heat-wave and we only have one window air conditioner. I ran a little over 2 miles but it was way to hot for me to try to do anymore. My buddy Patrick came over and began to put together my motorcycle that has been in parts for many months.

Hopefully tomorrow will be cooler, for now i will just enjoy the Celtics vs. Lakers game.
